Terva is a 22 year old Xaele Au ra from the Azim Steppe. Her parents died when she was young and only family she had left was her older brother. She comes from a long line of spear wilders who have been training in the art for several generations. However Terva is by no means good with a spear, her talents lie with a bow. Because of this her older brother is very over protective of her and doesn't allow her to leave the place they call home. Due to being tied down at home all the time she seeks out a job with the local guards to protect the gate. She assumes this will be her one and only time to ever see some of the things that come from the outside world. While Terva is on guard duty for any passing caravan that comes by, she spots a wagon with beautiful jewels and extravagant garments that had been transported all the way from Uldah. She couldn't keep it off her mind for weeks. Seeing the gems glisten and sparkle like the night sky she thought to herself its her ticket out of there! She hops on her tamed Rathalos one night and begins to follow them through the mountain side. Once she arrives out at the western sea, she rides her rathalos. She is making stops along the way to New Gradania to experience new things along the way. With her companion Quetzal by her side she arrives and finds there is so much more to the world she has known. With the little gil she has in her pouch she sets off to find adventure and food...
